Key events

Annual calendar

Port Hercule's operations are defined by three annual peaks. Each has distinct logistics, access rules and pricing.

  • Monaco Yacht Show (late September) — Port exclusively reserved for show vessels. Private visits must use Fontvieille or anchor offshore. Access badges from S.A.M. Monaco Yacht Show. Up to 120 superyachts hosted.
  • Formula 1 Grand Prix (late May/early June) — Application online only, months in advance. 2026: booking fee €300, occupancy 1–8 June. Special flat-rate pricing by LOA band. SEPM "Monaco Ports Lounge" packages from €5,700 (3-day).
  • Monaco Classic Week (September, biennial) — Classic yacht regatta organised by Yacht Club de Monaco. Elevated demand but less acute than MYS/F1.

Berth access reality

What owners and captains should know

Permanent / annual

Extremely scarce for vessels >30 m. Waiting lists opaque; large berths rarely available, often transfer privately. SEPM manages allocation; brokers with established relationships are a parallel route.

Seasonal (May–Oct)

Available but competitive. Book a season+ in advance. Peak summer (Jul–Aug) same-week availability unreliable for vessels >40 m.

Transient / event

Grand Prix and MYS weeks require 3–6 months (F1) to 12–18 months (MYS exhibitor) advance booking. Off-season (Oct–May, excl. F1) more available and affordable.

Indicative cost ranges (public sources)

  • 50 m vessel, peak summer: ~€500–800/night (SuperYachtReview 2026)
  • Grand Prix week: €5,000–20,000/night for premium positions (SuperYachtReview)
  • MYS week: allocated to exhibitors; rates significantly above standard
  • F1 2026 published rate bands by LOA — see SEPM brochure
  • NEEDS_HUMAN: Current commercial rate cards, real-time availability, waiting list position, power SLAs, concierge contracts, berth transfer mechanisms
